Morall Olson, owner of MJ Olson Enterprises has been associated with the development of raw property and the building trade industry for the past 26 years.
Before Morall became a custom home builder, he worked with developing major shopping centers, strip malls, and free standing buildings as well as involvement in permit processing and site development. That experience has assured the success of his residential projects since he started his own business, MJ Olson Enterprises, in 1991.
MJ Olson Enterprises has worked a number of commercial projects, including a complete renovation of the building that is home to MJ Olson Enterprises and 6 other businesses in Historic Downtown Kalama, Washington.
In 2003, MJ Olson Enterprises built in their first Clark County Parade of Homes. “The Chinook” was a Winner of 7 awards. The following year’s entry, “The Arawan” won 3 awards, and in 2005, “The Pendleton Cottage” took home 2 awards. MJ Olson's 2008 parade home, "Northwest Haven" claimed Best of Show, as well as Best Interior Design, Best Architectural Design and Best Landscaping.
In 2006, MJ Olson Enterprises was honored by the Building Industry Association of Clark County (BIA) with the Building Excellence Award in the category of new home over $750,000. In 2007, MJ Olson Enterprises was honored with 3 Building Excellence Awards in the following categories: Best new home over $750,000, Best new home $500-750,000, and Best Commercial Renovation under $3 million.
In the fall of 2007, MJ Olson Enterprises was the featured builder on the Television Show, “The Savvy Home Buyer”. The episode can be seen in full here.
MJ Olson Enterprises is made up of 22 employees, including Morall Olson, President, Wendi Olson, Vice President and interior design consultant, Doug Staples, in-house designer, project manager, office manager and 18 full time carpenters.
