The Chinook is a contemporary adaptation of the traditional bungalow style in a format intended for the empty nester. The entire living area is on a single level, including level access to the large raised front porch, and nearly level driveway, designed into a sloping lot.

Enter into a large vaulted entry, with wood floors and craftsman styled stairway. Pass into a large vaulted dining and great room with many built-ins. A large stone fireplace with a hand carved wooden mantle completes the décor. Open to both of these spaces is a large contemporary kitchen with craftsman details.

Skylights and windows open to a private courtyard and barbeque area. A separate desk area and large walk-in pantry are also provided.

The master suite incorporates a see through fireplace open to both the bedroom and the jetted tub. Windows and a French door provide access to a private master garden. The master bath has a large walk-in shower, tub, and make-up counter next to the lav. A generous walk-in closet completes the suite.

A large wainscoted den is provided for a home office, and the entire home is generously wired for security, communication, television, etc. Some interior finished are recycled old growth fir and oak.

The three-car garage is oversized to accommodate large and tall vehicles, and includes a workshop area with a built-in bench for the handyman.

Upstairs is a cozy reading niche with generous natural lighting and built-in bookshelves, a balcony overlooking the entry and a mini balcony overlooking the kitchen.

A generous guest room with a walk-in closet, a large bath, and a bonus room and storage room complete the second level. The bonus room can serve as any kind of space the owner might desire: bedroom, bonus room, media room, or studio.
